About Hotel Lancaster

Seventeenth-century furniture and artworks collected by hotelier Emile Wolf still shape Hotel Lancaster’s character today. Housed in an 1889 private mansion on rue de Berri, steps from the Champs-Élysées, the hotel retains the residential spirit of the house Wolf converted in 1925. Antiques sit alongside contemporary pieces by Studio Jean Philippe Nuel, with individually decorated rooms extending that eclectic approach upstairs. Downstairs, Monsieur Lancaster serves neo-bistro cooking built around ingredients from small local producers, with dishes designed for sharing. CopperBay brings its cocktail-making expertise to the bar. Together, these spaces give the Lancaster a character rooted as much in the pleasures of a Parisian household as in its century of hotelkeeping.

Why Celebrities Love Hotel Lancaster

There is something appealingly individual about a grand address that still leaves room for antiques, records and a good shared supper. The Lancaster's cocktail and vinyl programme gives creative visitors a reason to spend an evening in its company. For someone whose public life is highly produced, that mixture of taste and informality could be the real luxury.
